Everyone knows I'm a TV junkie, so of course I watched it.
I finally caught up with the last episode. For the uninitiated, I record my TV shows (coz I sleep so damn early and all good shows start from 10pm onwards) and I do catching up when I'm free (night shift days or weekends).
Anyway, so sad, I don't like the ending. My favourite guy turned out to be the villain.
No, not Henry!
Villain or not, he's still so adorable. Watching him turns me into a gushing teen.
By the way, listening to Cloudy Noon and Blue Mind after so long brings back so many memories =)
A stark difference to the old place, where one actually brought braised pork to a potluck lunch and the only two Muslim people has to share a packet of nasi briyani. What a whole load of crap rite.
Anyway, I'm still undecided about what I should bring. Maybe mini burgers, or perhaps some sandwiches? Suggestions anyone?
I can't stand half-hearted jobs. Hello, a little more effort can?
A colleague finally got a stern warning from the boss, and it's about time. We had enough of her MC-taking, calculative-ness and dodging of workload. Let's just hope she'll wake up from her deep slumber. My pleasantries have limits, you know.
Other than that, things are all peachy peach.
Over lunch, my colleague and I were discussing about applying for part-time studying this year. I do want to be over and done with the Masters as soon as possible. I'm just wondering whether I'll have too much on my plate next year. Or perhaps, I just need to be more organized huh?
Decisions decisions.
Picnic dinner at Yishun Dam, with the sun setting in the background.
Romantic gitu... Lol. Anyway, thanks babe! I'll see you again tomorrow for more girl time aite =D
After dinner, we were watching Friends Season 8 at her place and one episode kinda struck a chord with me.
Chandler: All right Rock, Paper, Scissors who has to tell the whore to leave! (Joey smirks.) What?
Joey: I miss this.
Chandler: I don’t think we’ve actually done this before!
Joey: No, I miss hanging out with you.
Chandler: Well we still hang out.
Joey: Not like we used to. Remember? You and me used to be inseparable. Y’know now it’s like…things are different.
Chandler: Well y’know, things are different. I’m married now.
Joey: Oh sure—And hey, don’t get me wrong, I am so happy for you guys. I just…I miss…hanging out…just us, y’know?
Chandler: Yeah, I miss that too. I tell you what; from now on we’ll make time to hang out with each other.
And yes, I'm not gonna lie. Sometimes I miss my girls and our hang out sessions during our single mingle days. At the same time, I understand that situation has changed now. I'm still glad that we try our best to meet up, despite our busy schedules.
Anyway, gossip for the day. Norman KRU is getting married in August? Tunggu...
Main objective, for the families to get to know one another.
I'm happy to say, even our nephews and nieces got along well.
I found later, my mum was more nervous than me. Hahaha.
Chill lah mother...
But insyaAllah, the time will come.
In the meantime, work is madness.
Some teachers are testing my patience.
There's an audit coming up and I have a feeling I'll be selected for interview. I'm always "lucky" when it comes to these things. Lucky draws, not so much.
Plus I have mounts and mounts of other things to prepare.
Another Fun With Tots session coming soon, which means more of "Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes".
Are you imagining me dancing yet?
I was looking forward to our roadtrip with the parents on Monday.
But cramps dammit.
Anyway, wish me luck.
